It’s a wrap! December 2019
When I moved to Germany last year, I needed a bank that was flexible enough to let me open a bank account while I was still in Austria and help me deal with all the logistics via mail. A friend recommended his bank consultant at Deutsche Bank, and so this is whom I’ve gone with. However, being with Deutsche Bank bothered me all this time.
As you all probably know, change often feels like a massive project, and so we usually don’t worry. At least until life gets shaken up by a significant event (such as moving, in my case) and suddenly everything is up for questioning;
I’m excited to say that I’m starting the new year with a GLS business bank account. After putting together an Excel sheet comparing all my options, GLS seemed like the best choice. My private bank account is still with N26. However, that might change in the future.
As I now also have a joint account with my partner and bunq enables me to have multiple accounts, I might eventually switch my private bank account to bunq as well.
bunq is a sustainable bank that is also available in Germany. They plant – just like Ecosia – trees.
If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you might have noticed my blog posts about sustainability. I’ve spent December reflecting on what is important to me, what I’m especially proud of, and how I’d like my work to contribute to our society. Given that I’m most proud of the impact my books have had on people, I decided to dedicate more time to writing and sharing my thoughts and learnings more regularly.
So this is why you can now read more about the sustainable changes I’ve made in the kitchen, my bathroom, and also the habits I’ve managed to establish when on the go.
Additionally, I started writing more about the work I do. I’ve recently published a post explaining what a brand story is and why businesses need one and then another one sharing what a brand bible is.
I’ve also compiled a list of businesses I’d like to work with in the future and have slowly been reaching out to them.
I’m currently in the process of planning my work for Q1 and sending out cost estimates. If you’re looking for someone to help you with community marketing, collaboration marketing, or copywriting, please reach out.
