HoCoSo: Designing Hospitality for Human Connection

In 2023, the World Health Organization named loneliness one of the biggest global health threats. As someone with a background in interior architecture and a career rooted in crafting digital and physical spaces for social interaction, I find myself at a unique intersection – designing experiences that prioritize belonging.

Long-stay accommodations like serviced apartments often cater to professionals who leave their homes and social circles behind for extended periods. For these guests, the architecture of connection matters. Together with HoCoSo, I support clients in the hospitality industry in rethinking the way they design communal spaces – ensuring they promote meaningful social interaction and enhance wellbeing.
